Here at Sylvester Keal, we are proud to deliver turnkey project solutions, and this is exactly what we did for a charity care provider who required a complete kitchen refurbishment.
The previous kitchen facility was out-dated and domestic-styled, and Environmental Health Officer had recommended it be removed, so the SK team replaced it all with a brand new, updated design.
Calling upon their expertise, the projects team fitted bespoke, fabricated units into the new kitchen, as well as completing a gas compliance upgrade of the interlocking system.
A Bio Clad walling system was also installed with a new LED lighting system, and a safety altro flooring was fitted.
We worked with a wall cladding sub-contractor and a suspended ceiling sub-contractor to carry out the refurbishment, as well as a haulage company for transporting equipment to the site.
When carrying out this £36,000 project, we discovered old services under the concrete access panels, which we initially thought would bring up a challenge with this project. However, we decided to re-divert all of the services to ensure easier service and maintenance for in the future.
Our team at Sylvester Keal are dedicated and experienced in the full design, planning and installation of commercial kitchens. We work to the best of our abilities on every project we work on, and aim to meet all deadlines as agreed, which the client was extremely happy with.
Once the project was complete and the new kitchen had been installed, it was great to see a positive reaction from the staff. There have been some major improvements made to the kitchen, and the staff are all extremely happy and satisfied with the work we have carried out.
The full project of the refurbishment of the kitchen was £36,000, which included the fitting and installation of equipment. The kitchen manager commented: “We were very satisfied and would like the services of Sylvester Keal for upgrading all of our other sites in phased projects.”
