World Class Premium Dishwashing Detergent!

Did it really happen?

Is this a dream?

No...England really did win a penalty shoot-out at the World Cup!!!

Gareth Southgate's men made history on Tuesday night in one of the most dramatic games the nation has witnessed! The win over Colombia sparked wild celebrations across the country and it was the first time the Three Lions have ever won a tournament shoot-out in the biggest football festival of them all. England's only previous success from the spot in a major tournament was against Spain at Wembley in Euro 1996.

We talked last week about the building excitement at home and the second round saw the momentum build even further! The climax of the penalty tension against the South Americans was watched by a staggering 23.6 million viewers on ITV, according to overnight figures. Indeed, more people tuned in between 21:50 and 21.55 on Tuesday than at any other time since the 2012 Olympic closing ceremony!  Interestingly, ITV also revealed that it was the highest peak audience for live sport since England played Portugal at the 2004 European Championships.

In fact, according to the broadcaster's figures, the most-watched single minute of Tuesday's game was at 21:52, when 24.4 million people tuned in!!! At this particular point, roughly four in five people watching TV in the UK (81%) were tuned into ITV.

Of course, attention now quickly turns to Saturday's Quarter-Final against Sweden. It will be a very difficult match against a side that has regularly caused problems for England over the last 4 decades; yet the impressive, calm and measured Southgate will attempt to lead the country into the Semi-Finals for the first time since 1990, when SK were just three years old!

We wish Gareth and the team all the very best for Saturday's clash in Samara and know that they will give their very best. We continue to do so too, and are proud of our own successes as professional kitchen pioneers! Our services are always world class in every area, whether producing the best dishwashing detergent for any commercial kitchen or restaurant or indeed the very best commercial dishwasher!

Come on England!!!
