Sylvester Keal are delighted to share with you that two of our young catering engineers have made it into Catering Insight’s 2018 Power List!
Mikey Lamb, who is our Apprentice Catering Engineer, and Catering Engineer, Ben Keal have been featured in the July edition of the publication, with Mikey appearing in the Young Trailblazers category and Ben in the Unsung Heroes category.
In the last 12 months, both Mikey and Ben have shown passion and enthusiasm for working on several kitchen projects, with Mikey completing his apprenticeship with us and becoming a fully qualified plumber, which has involved him working alongside Ben completing a range of installation projects.
Ben, who is the third generation Keal to join the business, works in all areas of maintenance and repair for catering equipment, and has become a key member of staff in forming our new installations team.
Martyn Keal, Managing Director of Sylvester Keal, said: “Mikey and Ben have both worked very hard over the last year, and we have seen them grow and develop their knowledge and skills of the industry.”
“We are extremely proud in providing opportunities for young people and believe that they should be recognised for their tremendous efforts. They thoroughly deserve to be included in the Power List, and we have high hopes that they will work their way up the ladder even further and continue to be successful in many years to come.”
The Power List is released every year and pays recognition to individual members of staff, praising them for their hard work and dedication to the industry over the last 12 months.
The Young Trailblazers category honours rising talents who have progressed and gone from strength to strength in the past year, with the Unsung Heroes category recognising individuals who are often overlooked yet play a huge part in making their business successful.
